Senior Delivery Consultant - AWS Cloud Architecture

We are Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe), a global team of experts helping customers achieve their business outcomes on AWS. In this Delivery Consultant role, you will work closely with customers and the AWS Partner Network to support enterprise cloud initiatives from discovery through implementation. This is not a remote position; we expect you to work from one of the listed locations or customer sites as needed. - We need 7+ years of experience in technical specialization, solution design, and architecture
- We need 5+ years of experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Kinesis
- We need 7+ years of experience consulting on, designing, and implementing serverless distributed solutions
- We need 5+ years of software development experience using an object-oriented programming language
- We need 3+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions, systems, networking, and operating systems
- We need a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- We need 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution implementation
- We need 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions with strong expertise in microservices and distributed systems
- We need 3+ years of consulting experience with enterprise customers
- We need 5+ years of experience implementing microservices and distributed systems on the cloud using one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET
- Preferred: an associate degree or higher, or AWS Professional-level certification
- Preferred: automation or scripting experience with languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or Shell
- Preferred: experience explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Preferred: experience delivering cloud migrations and modernization initiatives
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML technologies
- Preferred: knowledge of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR
- Preferred: experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation

- We design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions aligned with customer needs
- We provide technical direction and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- We partner with stakeholders to collect requirements and recommend effective migration approaches
- We serve as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
- We share expertise across the organization through mentoring, training, and reusable assets
