Refund Policy

Last updated: January 24, 2026

Overview

This Refund Policy describes when and how CloudOpsJobs (“we”, “us”, “our”) issues refunds for paid job postings. We aim to be transparent about our review process and your options if your job is not approved.

When Refunds Apply

Refunds apply only to paid job posts (those purchased directly through CloudOpsJobs) that we reject and do not publish. For example, we may reject a job if it does not fit our cloud operations focus (e.g., Platform Engineering, FinOps, MLOps, DevOps, SRE) or violates our quality guidelines.

Jobs that are aggregated from other sources or that were never paid (e.g., free or promotional listings) are not eligible for refunds. If we reject such a job, it is simply archived; no payment was taken.

The 7-Day Appeal Window

When we reject a paid job post, you have 7 days from the date of rejection to appeal. During this window:

  • If we approve your appeal — Your job will be published and no refund is issued. The listing will go live as normal.
  • If the 7 days pass with no successful appeal — We automatically process a full refund to your original payment method. You do not need to take any action.

We do not issue a refund at the moment of rejection. The 7-day window gives you a chance to correct misunderstandings or provide additional context before we close the matter with a refund.

How to Request an Immediate Refund

If you prefer not to wait for the 7-day window to end, you may request an immediate refund during the appeal period. Contact us (see Contact below) and we will process the refund and archive the job. Once an immediate refund is processed, the job will not be published and the matter is closed.

When Refunds Do Not Apply

We do not offer refunds in the following cases:

  • Approved and published jobs — Once your job is live on CloudOpsJobs, we cannot refund the fee. This includes jobs that were approved on appeal.
  • Change of mind — If you no longer wish to run the listing after it has been approved, we do not issue refunds.
  • Unpaid or aggregated jobs — No payment was made, so no refund applies.

How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing is handled by our payment provider (Stripe). It typically takes 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your card or account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

How to Appeal a Rejection

If you believe your job was rejected in error or you can address our concerns, please contact us within 7 days of the rejection. Include your job title, company name, and any context that may help us reassess. We will review your appeal and respond. If we approve it, your job will be published and no refund will be issued.
