Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Employers: Company name, job details (title, description, location, salary, etc.), contact email, and payment information. Payment data is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Alert subscribers: Email address, category and keyword preferences, and alert frequency.
• Contact and support: Name, email, and message content when you reach out via our contact form or email.

We also collect information automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data (e.g., pages visited, job views, apply clicks) to operate and improve the service.

Website and analytics (Google Analytics 4): When you accept analytics cookies, we may collect IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on site, referring URL, and similar data via Google Analytics. This is only enabled if you choose to accept analytics in our cookie banner or preferences.

Performance monitoring (New Relic): We may collect browser and device information, page load and performance data, and similar technical data via New Relic to operate and improve the site. This runs in the background and is not tied to the analytics cookie choice.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Publish and display job postings and company information on the job board
• Process payments and send transaction-related emails (confirmations, magic links, refund-related messages)
• Send job alert emails according to your preferences
• Respond to inquiries and support requests
• Review jobs for quality and policy compliance (including by our team and tools)
• Analyze usage to improve our service, prevent abuse, and fix issues
• Analyze site usage via Google Analytics to improve the service, understand traffic, and fix issues (based on your cookie choices)

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Essential: We use cookies for authentication (e.g., magic links, admin sessions), preferences, and security. These are required for the service and do not require your consent.

Analytics (optional): We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) when you accept analytics cookies. It may set cookies such as _ga, _gid, and _ga_*. Purpose: to measure traffic and usage. We only turn on analytics after you choose “Accept all” or “Customize” with analytics enabled in our cookie banner. You can change this anytime via Cookie preferences in the footer or by rejecting non-essential cookies.

You can control cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect how the site works.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third parties to operate our service. They process data on our behalf under agreements that limit their use of your information:

• Stripe — Payment processing. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Supabase — Database and backend infrastructure.
• Resend — Transactional and marketing email delivery.
• Google — Analytics (GA4). See Google’s partner sites policy and Google Analytics Opt-out.
• New Relic — Browser and application performance monitoring. See New Relic’s privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. For example: job and company data while the job is active and for a reasonable period after archiving; alert preferences until you unsubscribe; payment and transaction records as required for accounting and refunds.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to request removal of a job or alert subscription, contact us (see Contact below). We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time via Cookie preferences in the footer (Reject non-essential or Customize with analytics off). You can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure payment handling via Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
