Server & Azure Cloud Administrator

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Scranton/Jessup, PA area, and the selected candidate must work in person daily. - We require 5+ years of experience in cloud and systems administration, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- We need solid expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and core server services.
- We expect hands-on experience with Intune and modern endpoint management.
- We value practical knowledge of virtualization, networking fundamentals, and storage platforms.
- We need the ability to troubleshoot multiple desktop operating systems and a variety of business applications.
- We require a strong understanding of IT security best practices and security frameworks.
- We prefer experience conducting IT security assessments across cloud and on-premises environments.
- We look for excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- We expect the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- We require strong organizational abilities and clear technical documentation skills.
- We prefer light to moderate Linux administration experience.
- We consider basic familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases to be an advantage.
- We prefer experience supporting or deploying VoIP solutions.
- We value experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware.
- We prefer background in backup and disaster recovery technologies.
- We look for knowledge of network fundamentals, including VLANs, firewalls, and routing concepts.
- Microsoft, VMware, or other relevant industry certifications are preferred.
- We prefer candidates who have contributed to multi-phase infrastructure or cloud initiatives.
- We require the ability to commute daily to our Jessup, PA location or relocate before starting.

- We design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- We tune Azure environments for performance, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
- We implement and maintain Azure security controls, including identity and access management and Azure Active Directory.
- We administer Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, and related cloud services.
- We develop and support automation using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, or Terraform.
- We assist with cloud migration and modernization projects.
- We install, configure, and maintain server hardware, storage systems, and backup appliances.
- We administer Windows Server environments, including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, and file services.
- We secure server operating systems and address vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- We support virtualization platforms and multi-domain environments.
- We manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager and related device policies.
- We support Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Azure AD, and Teams.
- We assist with VoIP system deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- We act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues.
- We record communications and ticket activity accurately and promptly.
- We document troubleshooting actions, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- We create and maintain internal documentation, diagrams, and knowledge base content.
