Lead Platform Engineer, Payment Solutions

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- A minimum of 6 years of experience with build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
- At least 4 years of experience working with AWS
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a team
- 8 years of experience in Software Development, Software Engineering, or Technical Architecture (preferred)
- Expertise in architecture and design for debit card transaction processing systems and payment networks in the banking industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO8583 message formats (preferred)
- Proven track record of building scalable and high-performing systems (preferred)
- Understanding technology evaluation processes (preferred)
- Knowledge of modern development methodologies such as CI/CD, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and microservices (preferred)
- Proficient in API and application integration patterns (preferred)

- Collaborate with product owners to grasp required application functionalities and testing scenarios
- Continuously enhance software engineering practices within the team
- Work alongside and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions utilizing a full stack of development tools and technologies
- Oversee the craftsmanship, resilience, scalability, and availability of your solutions
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, engage in both internal and external tech communities, and mentor peers in the engineering field
- Foster innovation and the use of cutting-edge technologies while promoting inclusion, varied thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
- Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby, and Groovy, along with Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform, and various AWS tools and services
