Senior Platform Engineer, TSYS

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to play a critical role in the discovery, analysis, and solutioning of new initiatives while managing operations. This role is located in Chicago, IL, McLean, VA, or Richmond, VA, with competitive salary ranges based on location. - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Credit Card Processing Operations
- Bachelors Degree or Military experience preferred
- 6 years of experience with Total System Services (TSYS) Card Processing Operations preferred
- 2 years of experience with Originations, Customer Management, Collections, and Fraud preferred
- 2 years of experience working on integrations preferred
- 2 years of experience with automated testing preferred
- 2 years of development experience in Python, JavaScript, or Ruby preferred
- 2 years of experience with RDBMS databases, writing SQL queries, and data profiling preferred

- Collaborate with product owners to grasp desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Continuously enhance software engineering practices
- Work within Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across various development tools and technologies
- Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
- Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technical communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Promote innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, creative thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
- Utilize scripting languages such as Python, SQL, Ruby, and Groovy; work with Container Orchestration tools including Docker and ECS; use Configuration Management tools like Ansible and Terraform; and leverage various AWS tools and services
