- We require at least 4 years of relevant work experience, with 5 or more years generally preferred.
- We value experience leading a multi-regional production support team.
- We prefer experience managing vendor partnerships and consultants.
- We look for a background in facilitating large-scale, high-pressure triage sessions and stakeholder coordination.
- We seek experience tracking and managing software and infrastructure budgets and costs.
- Experience supporting a data platform or another large-scale shared service is a plus.
- Familiarity with our core technology stack, including Cloudera CDP, Impala, Kudu, Apache Kafka, AWS infrastructure, and ServiceNow, is preferred.

- We set goals and objectives to drive operational results for our platform engineering team.
- We design, develop, and maintain digital infrastructure that supports our IT applications and services.
- We oversee project planning, prioritization, and delivery to keep work on schedule and within scope.
- We coordinate cross-functional collaboration and allocate resources efficiently.
- We guide the team in using our software deployment platform, CI/CD pipelines, and twelve-factor practices to automate releases.
- We ensure strong quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards.
- We drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement approved standards to strengthen development and deployment processes.
- We partner with product managers, designers, and other teams to clarify requirements, align priorities, and deliver effective solutions.
- We maintain and review documentation for applications, deployment workflows, and system configurations.
- We provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications to minimize downtime.
- We manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to keep communication clear and projects aligned.
- We lead and develop our team by setting expectations, coaching performance, monitoring progress, supporting growth, and fostering an inclusive culture.
