Senior Consultant, Info Security & Cloud AI @ Cargill

Salary: $49,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering with successful oversight of complex, enterprise-level systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in tackling the distinct security issues related to Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or Agentic AI systems, including model misuse, prompt injection, hallucination risks, and data management.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, encompassing IAM, networking, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
• Practical experience with Python and security automation for scalable application of AI security protocols.
• Proficient in securing containerized and distributed infrastructures, including Kubernetes and service meshes.
• Acquainted with AI platform components such as model registries, vector databases, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning workflows, and inference gateways.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and uphold security and resilience for enterprise-level AI and Generative AI services, supporting mission-critical applications at scale.
• Safeguard Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI systems, and multi-agent workflows, including inference services and fine-tuning processes.
• Enforce security measures for Model Context Protocol (MCP) and similar agent integration patterns to protect tool usage, context exchange, agent communication, and external data interactions.
• Create and oversee AI platform security features across public cloud AI services, self-hosted models, and third-party AI providers.
• Construct automated security guardrails utilizing Python and policy as code to implement access control, data protection, model usage limitations, and runtime monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with AI Platform, Cloud Platform, DevOps, Software Engineering, and Compliance teams to incorporate security throughout the AI development lifecycle (AISDLC).
• Conduct threat modeling and risk evaluations for AI architectures, including RAG pipelines, vector databases, agent frameworks, and model supply chains.
• Assist in AI-related incident response, covering investigation, containment, remediation, and insights gained from security incidents involving AI systems or agents.
• Contribute to establishing enterprise AI security standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor, mentoring junior engineers and positively influencing stakeholders across engineering and leadership teams.
