Sr. Platform Engineer - ServiceNow

We are hiring a Senior Professional, Platform Engineering role focused on designing, developing, and supporting the digital infrastructure behind our technology applications and services. This position works with minimal supervision and partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver platform enhancements, improve deployment reliability, and strengthen software quality. - We require at least 4 years of relevant professional experience; 5 or more years is typically preferred.

- We design, build, and maintain digital technology infrastructure that supports our applications and services.
- We collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new capabilities that align with user needs and business objectives.
- We enhance existing platforms to improve performance and functionality by writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- We troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including debugging production and development problems.
- We contribute to code reviews to uphold high code quality and share expertise with our platform engineering team.
- We develop high-quality software solutions using maintainable and efficient code.
- We lead automation efforts across our software deployment platform, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and twelve-factor development practices to support reliable releases.
- We partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- We create and maintain complex unit tests and integration tests, applying test-driven development where appropriate.
- We recommend and implement improvements to our software development and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
- We maintain thorough documentation for software applications, deployment workflows, and system configurations.
- We provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications to minimize downtime and speed up resolution.
