Azure Cloud Engineer

We are hiring a lead-level Site Reliability Engineer to help us maintain the stability, reliability, and operational excellence of our Azure-based platform services. This is a remote position with a pay range of $64.00 to $75.00 per hour. In this role, we rely on you as our key L3/L4 escalation point to accelerate incident recovery, perform root cause investigations, and drive continuous improvement across our production environments.

- 7–10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong operations focus
- 3–5+ years supporting Azure production environments
- Proven background handling L3/L4 incident escalation
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis expertise
- Experience with monitoring platforms and ITSM workflows
- Experience supporting highly available environments
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or equivalent, preferred
- Experience with AVD, hybrid cloud, and migration work, preferred
- Familiarity with Ivanti or similar ITSM tools, preferred
- Working knowledge of ITIL, preferred

- Own the availability, uptime, and performance of our Azure production environments
- Serve as the primary L3/L4 escalation lead for major incidents
- Lead incident triage, coordination, and resolution efforts
- Conduct root cause analysis and help prevent recurring issues
- Improve mean time to resolution and strengthen operational processes
- Shape and maintain our monitoring and alerting approach using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, DataDog, and Application Insights
- Review and approve production changes and confirm operational readiness
- Support security incident response and compliance activities
- Collaborate closely with engineering and application teams
