DevOps Engineer with SCI eligibility

- At least 8 years of experience in systems administration or system operations, or 6 years with a Masters degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
- Proficient in Linux-based infrastructure and Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with open-source configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
- Familiarity with open-source cloud tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack.
- Experience with public cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey protocols and processes effectively.
- Over 6 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or similar), with software development and infrastructure experience being beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.



- Manage platform systems, including OpenStack, Kubernetes, Spark, and Hadoop.
- Act as an engineer to enable infrastructure and development facets of the systems.
- Develop and execute upgrades and automation across multiple environments.
- Enhance systems through updates and optimizations utilizing various technologies.
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders in a government setting.
- Spend significant time on-site ensuring effective functionality of the HPC environment.
