- Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure design and management across various platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
- Strong expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python and Bash for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef; proficiency in Terraform is crucial.
- Solid understanding of operating systems, mainly Linux and Windows Server, with a focus on system hardening techniques.
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, specifically VPN configurations, and RESTful API integration.
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and others.
- Manage virtualization solutions such as VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes for optimizing resources and scalability.
- Develop and uphold automation scripts using tools like Terraform and Ansible for deployment and management tasks.
- Support and architect microservices-based applications, employing RESTful APIs and container orchestration technologies.
- Ensure system security through hardening measures and enforce network security protocols including VPNs and firewalls.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or comparable tools.
- Monitor cloud environments to identify performance issues and troubleshoot complex cloud computing challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding architecture designs and operational best practices.
- Take a lead role in capacity planning, disaster recovery strategy, and adhering to cloud security standards.
