Senior Developer - Platform & Integrations

At GH Logistics, we are a Texas-based freight and logistics company committed to moving hundreds of loads daily through our asset and brokerage operations. We are currently developing Monarc—an innovative AI-driven operating environment designed to integrate data, processes, and intelligence throughout the lifecycle of a load. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Director of IT, two junior developers, and our hands-on CEO to shape a platform built for scalability, with the added benefit of working directly alongside our end users. - 4+ years of experience in software development - Proficient in Python with a focus on architecture rather than just scripting - Experience in production-level Node.js, TypeScript, or React - Competence in API design, database management, and Git practices - Passion for teaching others how to utilize the systems you create - Excellent communication skills to engage with both dispatchers and developers - Self-motivated and capable of overseeing projects from design to deployment What Sets You Apart: - Familiarity with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor - Experience with LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, or agent frameworks - Understanding of logistics, freight, or fleet management systems - Background in Docker, cloud platforms, CI/CD processes, or data pipelines - Proven track record of training teams on new technologies or systems - Lead the design and structure of the platform while producing high-quality code - Develop and sustain integrations among dispatching, planning, compliance, finance, and fleet systems - Educate the development team on modern tools, AI-enhanced workflows, and industry best practices - Train the operations team on the current and upcoming functionalities of the Monarc platform - Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and maintain testing standards - Collect and analyze feedback from operational users to set development priorities - Deliver results efficiently within a lean team structure, free from bureaucratic obstacles
