This role will primarily involve designing and deploying Landing Zones, cloud foundations, and application migration architectures, preferably within Azure environments. We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $70 to $75, as well as benefits including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance. Our team values collaboration and innovation in secure, regulated environments, and we are excited to welcome new talent to our remote workforce.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform, including module development, testing, state management, CI/CD integration, and Git workflows.
- Over 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles, cloud automation, and lifecycle management of environments.
- Knowledge of cloud architectures, encompassing compute, networking, identity, security, and monitoring.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Azure, with AWS being advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Act as the Terraform subject matter expert, developing reusable modules and automating infrastructure provisioning while enforcing IaC best practices.
- Design, deploy, and manage Landing Zones or analogous cloud foundation frameworks in Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Assist in application migration projects by architecting scalable and secure cloud solutions and implementing necessary infrastructure through IaC.
- Construct secure and compliant network and identity architectures, including VNET/VPC design, segmentation, policies, and RBAC/IAM monitoring.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to establish standards, guardrails, and automation patterns.
- Continuously enhance cloud environments for optimal performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, IaC documentation, and operational procedures.
