Senior Product Manager, Retrieval Platform @ Google

Salary: $183,000 - 271,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience overseeing technical products from concept to launch.
• 2 years of experience working with data processing, systems infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• Masters degree in a technology or business-related discipline (preferred).
• 5 years of experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as engineering, UX/UI, sales, and finance.
• 5 years of background in business functions like strategic marketing, operations, or consulting.
• 3 years of involvement in software development or engineering.
• Experience in product management with a focus on software solutions and technologies.
• Proven experience in developing product vision and roadmaps for infrastructure and platform solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) by collaborating with partner teams during product design and development to translate requirements into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for multiple teams.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Googles retrieval infrastructure, focusing on its capabilities and future developments.
• Research and comprehend the objectives of our clients across various platforms (e.g., web search, YouTube, Cloud, etc.).
• Shape and advocate for the product vision within your area, anticipating the needs of clients and Google users.
• Manage client engagements, including business reviews, collaborative OKRs, and shared success metrics.
