DevOps Software Development Engineer

- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters preferred.
- Over 7 years of experience in a software DevOps, development, or testing role involving enterprise server, storage, or networking products.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps pipelines, YAML templating, CI/CD strategies, and Git branching models.
- Expertise in Docker images, Docker Compose, and Docker Swarm for multi-node and multi-location deployments.
- Strong understanding of Azure and AWS technologies including IAM, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy, along with Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible, along with configuration management practices.
- Knowledge of distributed deployment architecture including multi-site replication and dynamic service routing.
- Background in database management with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB operations and migrations.
- Competence in observability and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Skilled with version control and build systems such as Azure DevOps and Git, including artifact storage and secrets management.
- Preferred experience or knowledge in AI, along with a willingness to learn.

- Design, architect, and sustain scalable CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure and AWS DevSecOps.
- Construct and refine Docker-based microservices, images, and deployment strategies.
- Direct deployment processes across diverse environments using Docker Swarm, Kubernetes/EKS, and multi-location settings.
- Create automation for infrastructure utilizing tools like Ansible, bash scripting, Terraform, and Git workflows.
- Oversee management of release pipelines involving container registries, artifact feeds, template pipelines, and multi-stage workflows.
- Formulate deployment strategies for various environments including development, QA, staging, and production.
- Deploy cloud-native services using AWS and Azure platforms.
- Enforce fundamental security measures, such as IAM roles, secrets management, and access controls.
- Build secure, modular, and reusable systems for builds and releases.
- Collaborate closely with full-stack engineering teams working with Angular, Java, Python, backend APIs, and database experts.
- Guide junior DevOps engineers and make key decisions regarding the DevOps roadmap.
