RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
Monitor, analyze and optimize infrastructure costs in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI) and on-premises.
Develop, implement and oversee financial governance policies and processes for cloud environments.
Create dashboards and management reports to provide strategic insights on cloud service consumption and ROI.
Negotiate with cloud service providers to obtain better commercial terms.
Define strategies for purchasing reservations and usage commitments.
Stay up to date with FinOps best practices and cloud technology innovations.
Promote a FinOps culture within the organization through workshops, training and engagement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in progress/completed in Computer Engineering, IT Management, Information Technology or related areas.
Proven experience with FinOps.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience in technology budget analysis.
Experience creating dashboards using visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience in management of corporate processes and policies.
Deep understanding of financial operations related to cloud infrastructure.
Advanced analytical skills to perform detailed analyses before and during projects.
Experience with resource provisioning and monitoring cloud consumption.
Desired:
FinOps Certified Practitioner certification.
Certifications from Azure, OCI and AWS providers.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Where you will work: This position is for the city of Curitiba or São Paulo – on-site model with the benefit of two days of home office.
Employment type: CLT (Brazilian labor law employment contract)
