Our commitment to diversity and equal opportunity is integral to our hiring practices, ensuring a welcoming environment for all qualified applicants. - Bachelors degree in Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, plus 5-7 years of relevant experience - Extensive knowledge of Genesys Cloud, focusing on advanced configuration, architectural design, and system integrations - Proficiency in software development with Java, C#.NET, Python, PHP, and web application development scripting and methodologies - Experience in call flow development using the Genesys Architect tool - Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and mentoring senior technical teams - Excellent technical problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate on complex troubleshooting tasks - Familiarity with software tools such as Wireshark, MS Server, DHCP/DNS, MS Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, MS Visio, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), as well as MS Outlook - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for engaging with internal teams, IT departments, customers, clients, and partners - Ability to formulate and implement a strategic technology vision that aligns with and advances business objectives - Willingness to work irregular hours to address emergency situations or outages - Lead large scale Genesys Cloud projects, encompassing major upgrades, migrations, and new feature implementations - Provide high-level support and guidance for intricate technical issues, including troubleshooting, systems integration, and performance optimizations - Mentor and support fellow engineers by fostering a collaborative team environment and offering technical insights - Oversee the Contact Center implementation and support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle - Adhere to departmental implementation standards and change control processes as a Genesys Cloud Engineer - Assess both existing and new voice and data networks as necessary and propose effective solutions - Generate and modify necessary artifacts and deliverables, which include managing the change management process
