Utilizing Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native tools will be part of your duties to ensure provisioning and environmental consistency. We encourage you to proactively identify opportunities for automating recurring operational processes and meticulously document system changes for FedRAMP audits. In terms of success indicators, we hope to see improved uptime and reliability across assigned systems, quicker incident resolution times, and positive collaboration feedback from our DevOps and Security teams. You will also assist in maintaining logs, baselines, and evidence of access control, as well as support Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) activities through vulnerability reporting and patch compliance tracking. You should have experience writing and maintaining scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell and be familiar with compliance frameworks like FedRAMP or NIST 800-53. Please note that U.S. Citizenship is required.
In your role as a Cloud Operations Engineer (L2), you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system management, and providing support across our cloud infrastructure. Your tasks will include performing advanced troubleshooting for infrastructure, OS, and application issues, analyzing logs and telemetry from our monitoring platforms (Grafana, Datadog, Wiz, CloudWatch), and working collaboratively with Platform/DevOps Engineers on root cause analysis and long-term solutions. You will manage AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments while adhering to configuration baseline controls. Additionally, you will execute system patching, perform health checks, and maintain documentation related to infrastructure and system configuration. You will also support low-code/no-code applications during deployment and maintenance windows, troubleshoot application-layer issues, and work towards optimizing CI/CD deployment workflows.
