DevOps Engineer

We are Lockheed Martin, working with the C2BMC Global team to develop and integrate advanced capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. Our team operates in a fast-paced, agile environment and contributes across sensor and weapon integration, algorithm development, user interface development, automated testing, cyber security, and other leading-edge defense technologies. This is a full-time, experienced-level Dev Sec Ops Engineer opportunity based 100% onsite at Schriever Space Force Base, about 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, Colorado. - We require U.S. citizenship, as this role needs a government security clearance and special facility access.
- We expect you to obtain a DoD 8570 certification, such as Security+ CE or an equivalent credential, within three months of starting.
- We need proven experience administering Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
- We look for hands-on experience with scripting or automation tools such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or similar coding experience.
- Preferred experience includes a final Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Preferred experience includes building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
- Preferred experience includes containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience includes configuration management using Ansible.
- Preferred experience includes virtualization technologies such as VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix.
- Preferred experience includes Windows Server and Active Directory.

- We will have you design, implement, and maintain our on-premises hyperconverged cloud infrastructure.
- You will help ensure reliable operation of our applications and services.
- You will automate administrative processes using technologies such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- You will contribute to the broader C2BMC Global mission supporting missile defense capability.
- You may collaborate with software and systems engineers, architects, project engineering teams, and key customers at the Missile Defense Agency.
