AI/ML Platform Architect

We are Loom Security, and we are reimagining how organizations understand and secure human and non-human behavior across the modern enterprise. We are building advanced cybersecurity and AI-native technology that gives businesses greater visibility into user activity, risk, and intent across identities, devices, applications, and data. This is a remote role based in the U.S., reporting to our Chief Product and Delivery Officer, with a base salary of $175,000 to $210,000 plus performance-based incentives. - We require 7+ years of software architecture experience, with a strong focus on AI/ML-based systems.
- We need hands-on expertise with AI/ML frameworks, distributed architectures, system integrations, and end-to-end data movement.
- We require practical experience with cloud-native AI/ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI.
- We need a solid background in large-scale data engineering, ETL processes, and streaming technologies.
- We prefer familiarity with posture management, identity, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Experience working with partner ecosystems, cloud marketplaces, or interoperability initiatives is a plus.
- We require the ability to connect complex technical concepts to business priorities and customer outcomes.
- We need excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a history of guiding cross-functional teams.
- We require a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

- We will have you architect and own the AI/ML components of our USPM service and platform, with a focus on scalability, performance, and resilience.
- We will have you define our AI strategy for analytics across posture management areas such as CSPM, DSPM, ASPM, IAM, and related domains.
- You will partner with Product and Engineering to convert business and customer needs into technical designs and AI-driven solutions.
- You will design and build large-scale data pipelines, real-time event processing, and machine learning workflows.
- You will use cloud-native AI/ML services across AWS, Azure, and GCP to deliver scalable, interoperable solutions.
- You will ensure security, compliance, and governance across AI pipelines, aligned with Zero Trust and data protection best practices.
- You will stay current on AI and cybersecurity trends and apply emerging technologies to strengthen our services and platform.
- You will work with Partner Management to support ecosystem interoperability and integrations with partner technologies.
- You will mentor engineers and data scientists by providing architectural direction and technical leadership.
- You will contribute to planning and innovation discussions, helping align AI architecture with our long-term market strategy.
