Data Platform Administrator

- We need a bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or comparable hands-on experience.
- We need 2–4 years of experience supporting cloud data platforms or analytics environments.
- We need practical knowledge of SQL and modern analytics tools to assist with platform support and troubleshooting.
- We prefer experience with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI.
- We value strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- We need someone who can work independently in a fast-moving, project-oriented setting.
- We prefer experience supporting enterprise data warehouses or analytics platforms, especially in complex manufacturing environments.
- We value experience with ELT/ETL workflows and data transformations using dbt or similar tools.
- We prefer familiarity with modern data engineering practices such as version control, code reviews, and environment promotion.
- We are looking for someone interested in growing into more hands-on data engineering and pipeline support responsibilities over time.

- We manage and monitor the core elements of our data platform across development, testing, and production environments.
- We configure environments, maintain platform settings, and help ensure strong performance, availability, and reliability for users and downstream systems.
- We administer Snowflake by managing databases, warehouses, roles, access controls, and resource monitors.
- We track platform usage and costs, adjust warehouse sizing and scaling, and partner with finance and platform stakeholders to balance performance and spend.
- We support the operational side of dbt and Fivetran by monitoring jobs and connectors, investigating issues, and helping resolve pipeline failures or performance concerns.
- We enforce role-based access controls and support audits and access reviews.
- We work with Data Governance and Security teams to keep platform configurations aligned with enterprise policies.
- We collaborate with data and analytics partners to help them use the platform effectively.
- We share best practices, contribute to documentation and runbooks, and support BI and reporting workloads.
- We work closely with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Analytics teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, and data pipelines.
