Software Developer DevOps Active Clearance

We are a highly experienced engineering team delivering secure, high-availability software systems for mission-focused users in the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. This is an in-person role, and it offers the opportunity to work on cloud modernization, containerized application delivery, automation, and infrastructure improvement alongside a small, seasoned team. - We need a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- We are looking for 2–10 years of experience building, deploying, and supporting production software in DevOps-oriented environments.
- We require strong proficiency with Linux or Unix systems such as Rocky or RHEL.
- We prefer hands-on programming experience in Python, with exposure to other modern languages such as C, C++, or Java.
- We need practical experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- We expect familiarity with DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices.
- We require experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- We look for comfort working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GovCloud, Azure, or GCP.
- We need solid knowledge of Git and modern version control workflows.
- We value strong analytical ability, teamwork, and clear communication.
- We require CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability to earn it within 30 days of hire.
- We require an active TS clearance, with TS/SCI preferred.
- We value experience with multiple programming languages and familiarity with Python data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and SciPy.
- We consider experience developing RESTful microservices a plus.
- We prefer candidates who have modernized legacy systems into containerized or microservice-based architectures.

- We design, build, and deploy scalable applications in containerized environments.
- We create and manage container-based systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
- We develop and support CI/CD pipelines to enable dependable software releases.
- We build and refine ETL workflows for efficient data movement and processing.
- We configure and maintain message queuing platforms such as RabbitMQ and similar technologies.
- We write Python scripts to automate infrastructure administration and deployment activities.
- We monitor system performance and implement improvements to reliability and efficiency.
- We collaborate with other developers to define deployment standards and infrastructure best practices.
