Early-career TS-cleared DevOps Engineer @ Northrop Grumman

Salary: $76,200 - 137,600 per year

Requirements:

• Active/current U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret (TS) security clearance at time of application
• Ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) approval/access within a reasonable timeframe
• U.S. citizenship is required
• For Level 1: Bachelors degree with 1 year of relevant experience (or 4+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree)
• 1+ years of DevOps or software development experience
• For Level 2: Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience (or 4+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree)
• 2+ years of DevOps or software development experience
• Preferred: Current/Active TS with SCI
• 1+ years in a technical leadership role managing technical objectives and JIRA metrics reporting
• Current Security+, CISSP, or other certification meeting DoD 8140 IAT Level II or Level III

Responsibilities:

• Automate cloud-native technologies, deploy applications, and provision essential infrastructure
• Collaborate with microservices and distributed application architecture, containers, orchestration, and serverless technologies
• Operate within a cloud ecosystem to configure and deploy optimized infrastructure
• Ensure monitoring and health of deployed resources using enterprise management solutions
• Document procedures utilized during deployment cycles
• Engage with fellow DevOps team members for cross-training and technical growth while assisting in troubleshooting tasks
• Implement clean, maintainable infrastructure-as-code adhering to industry best practices
