Salary: $130,000 - 155,000 per year
Requirements:
Over 5 years of professional experience in the complete software development lifecycle and developing effective CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Ansible (IaC), Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes, test automation, static code analysis, Artifactory, and release management processes.
Proficient in at least two scripting languages such as Windows batch/PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, SSH, NAT, firewalls, and load balancing.
Significant experience in managing and supporting both Windows and Linux Servers.
Strong grasp of deployment processes across various platforms including web applications, REST APIs, messaging systems, application services, microservices, and serverless/cloud managed components.
Familiarity with relational and no-SQL databases, with additional database technologies being an advantage.
Eagerness to explore technology and quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
(Preferred) Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (VNet, privateLink, Blob storage, Azure SQL, Web App, Data Factory, Client, AKS, ARO, SQL Server/Cosmos) or AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, Route53, ECS, EKS, RDS, ALB/NLB).
(Preferred) Familiarity with code quality tools like SonarQube, GitHub Enterprise Advanced Security/CodeQL, and JFrog Artifactory + Xray.
(Preferred) Background in containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
(Preferred) Experience with application monitoring, telemetry, and alerting solutions such as Splunk, LogicMonitor, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Insight, or comparable tools.
Responsibilities:
Engage in the complete lifecycle development of the software development process and implement all DevOps protocols to manage and support the CI/CD process, including automating build, testing, deployment pipelines, and configuration management.
Apply best practices for creating automation solutions and tools that development teams can easily utilize.
Establish and develop an effective release management process that facilitates control separation and appropriate approval workflows.
Collaborate closely with security and infrastructure teams to integrate corporate standards within the CI/CD and provisioning frameworks.
Oversee the source control management system and its integration with software build and deployment efforts.
Take ownership of the build environment, resolve build-related issues, and assist in coordinating complex software testing environments and software releases.
Monitor application operational processes, escalate issues, and facilitate resolution as necessary.
