Salary: $86,800 - 165,200 per year
Requirements:- We require a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- We require experience administering Linux operating systems, preferably in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
- We require hands-on experience with x86 computer hardware, ideally datacenter-class systems.
- We require proficiency with scripting languages and tools such as shell, bash, and Python.
- We require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required clearance.
- We require an active Secret-level DoD clearance after the first day of employment.
- We prefer candidates with CompTIA Linux+ certification.
- We value experience with automation platforms and frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, GitLab, and GitLab Runner.
- We value familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Telegraf, and Prometheus.
- We value experience with development and collaboration tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Jira.
- We value experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban.
- We value exposure to C++ development.
- We value knowledge of radar systems or digital signal processing.
- We prefer candidates with software development education or related experience.
- We work closely with hardware and software engineers to support the build, integration, and testing of custom processing hardware.
- We administer IT systems in a real-time Linux environment.
- We configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Ethernet and Infiniband networks.
- We write and run Python and Bash scripts to support verification activities and automate routine procedures.
- We develop integration and test plans and execute functional, performance, and environmental testing at the subsystem level.
- We collect and analyze hardware metrics, including power, CPU and memory usage, CPU temperature, and network throughput.
- We update FPGA firmware using Quartus.
- We help architect hardware systems to meet performance requirements.
- We support specialized hardware testing as part of a split focus between Linux administration and test support.
- We work onsite in Marlborough, MA on first shift.
