AWS Cloud Architect - Infrastructure

- Over 13 years of experience in IT Infrastructure
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing AWS infrastructure solutions, with a focus on AWS Landing Zone and VPC
- Proven ability in creating and deploying AWS Landing Zones for multi-account enterprise settings
- Strong practical experience in Amazon VPC design, VPN implementation, and AWS Direct Connect for secure hybrid connectivity
- In-depth understanding of security best practices including VPC peering, security groups, NACLs, and firewall implementations
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate provisioning and ensure consistency
- Experience in monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving intricate networking and latency challenges in AWS
- Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework, governance structures, and compliance standards for large-scale environments
- Strong collaborative leader with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, and security
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of interacting with both technical and business audiences
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (or equivalent) certification highly preferred

- Design and implement AWS Landing Zones for multi-account cloud environments
- Architect and manage Amazon VPCs to ensure secure and efficient networking
- Establish network connections between on-premises data centers and AWS using VPNs and AWS Direct Connect
- Apply security best practices including VPC peering, security groups, NACLs, and firewall setups
- Automate infrastructure provisioning utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance AWS environments for performance, cost efficiency, and security
- Monitor and address network issues, latency, and connectivity hurdles within AWS environments
- Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework and governance policies
