This is a hands-on, developer-focused DevOps and platform engineering role with no supervisory responsibilities, regular collaboration across the firm, and up to 10% travel.

- We require 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
- We seek someone with a background that has evolved from software development into cloud infrastructure and automation.
- We need 6+ years of practical experience with CI/CD platforms such as Harness, CloudBees, or Jenkins and modern release practices.
- We require deep development expertise in Java and/or Node.js environments.
- We need strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, including networking, serverless services, and managed cloud infrastructure.
- We require advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- We look for experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures.
- We need experience leading technical assessments and Proof-of-Concept initiatives for new tools and processes.
- We require a strong understanding of secure software delivery, git branching strategies, and DevSecOps practices.
- We need experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools, preferably Kubernetes.
- We require strong scripting abilities in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- We seek excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work across engineering, security, operations, vendors, and clients.
- We value clear, transparent communication with a strong focus on documentation and shared accountability.
- We require a bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- We prefer AWS and/or Azure certifications at the professional level, with additional DevOps, Kubernetes, or cloud credentials considered a plus.
- We require strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, DevOps principles, Azure DevOps, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Availability Groups, scripting, automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- We require a valid drivers license.
- We require the ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

- We will design, implement, and support fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js applications.
- We will build standardized deployment processes across AWS and/or Azure environments.
- We will add automated testing, security checks, and quality controls into delivery pipelines.
- We will create reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries that reinforce best practices.
- We will improve build and deployment speed, reliability, and visibility.
- We will architect and deliver an Internal Developer Portal that enables self-service infrastructure, application templates, and deployment workflows.
- We will establish golden paths that speed up onboarding and reduce complexity for engineering teams.
- We will integrate the portal with CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, identity systems, and observability tools.
- We will maintain service catalogs, documentation standards, and ownership records.
- We will continually enhance the developer experience through feedback and platform improvements.
- We will design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure using Terraform.
- We will create reusable Terraform modules and enforce governance through policy-as-code.
- We will implement secure, scalable networking and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- We will ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery preparedness.
- We will promote an automation-first DevOps culture built on continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.
- We will implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications and infrastructure.
- We will incorporate DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
- We will partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment methods.
- We will lead proof-of-concept efforts to assess and introduce new tools, platforms, and automation approaches.
