Infrastructure Automation Engineer (DevOps)

We pride ourselves on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual is valued. - Extensive hands-on knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for implementing and managing complex cloud infrastructures. - Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for provisioning AWS resources and configuration management. - Experience in automating operations for various distributed data platforms, including Kafka, Cassandra, RDS, Elasticache, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB. - Skilled in developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins to automate infrastructure deployment and incident management workflows. - Strong programming skills in Python for infrastructure scripting and API integrations. - Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. - Proven capability to independently execute and document complex technical projects. - Comfortable handling both operational and development tasks, with a mix of 60% operations and 40% development focus. - Oversee the automation and scaling of core data infrastructure platforms primarily in the AWS cloud environment. - Collaborate with a global team of engineers to manage and operate critical data systems that support over 100 microservices. - Tackle challenges related to distributed systems and enhance performance, resilience, and observability across platforms. - Integrate advanced CI/CD practices into our operations to foster continuous improvement and efficiency. - Engage in hands-on development and operations as part of a dynamic and impactful team environment.
