Lead DevOps Engineer with cloud expertise

- 7+ years of proven experience in software engineering and DevOps
- 7+ years in a SCRUM/Agile software development environment
- Proficient in deploying and managing Continuous Integration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, or Bamboo
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Docker, Podman, Helm, etc.
- Experience with SAST tools (Checkmarx) and code quality tools (SonarQube)
- Skilled in integrating automated testing solutions for unit, system, integration, and performance testing within CI/CD
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong cloud engineering experience, primarily with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficient in using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Chocolatey for infrastructure automation and configuration
- Knowledgeable in containerization via Docker and Podman, and orchestration using Amazon EKS
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot configuration and administration
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
- Experienced with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Datadog and Solarwinds
- Understanding of project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Scrum/Kanban, etc.
- Ability to define scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying standards, processes, and cloud architecture to team members and management.

- Lead the implementation and scaling of DevSecOps practices throughout the Bank’s technology landscape
- Collaborate closely with IT Delivery Teams to ensure a smooth transition of code, services, and products from development to deployment and into production
- Build necessary processes, frameworks, and tools for enterprise-wide DevSecOps adoption
- Design scalable CI/CD pipelines and embed security into all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Foster a culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement across teams
- Supervise and manage the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration processes
- Work with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
- Implement security best practices ensuring compliance with performance, security, availability, and recoverability standards
- Identify risks in systems and processes and recommend/implement improvements
- Develop and support test automation for continuous integration and deployment
- Create metrics and dashboards to monitor the adoption and maturity of DevSecOps practices at the Bank
- Contribute to discussions around technology controls and their implementation in a DevSecOps/Cloud environment
- Liaise with Delivery teams to support configurations/setup in Azure DevOps (ADO) for Agile projects
- Participate in technology Center of Excellence (CoE) and promote DevSecOps methodologies
- Collaborate with teams to enhance deployment, provisioning, and integration workflows, ensuring stability in environments
