Job Description
We are eInfochips, an Arrow company, and a global product engineering and semiconductor design services provider with a strong track record across multiple industries. This is a full-time Engineering Services role with a fully onsite expectation, with preferred locations in Cupertino, CA or Austin, TX, and the opportunity may require travel to an Arrow client office as needed. - We require a bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent field
- We need 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
- We look for strong programming ability in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust, with a proven record of writing production-ready, maintainable code
- We require hands-on experience with AWS in a DevOps environment, including infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK
- We expect experience working with Linux/Unix systems
- We need experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- We look for experience with high-performance computing clusters and workload schedulers such as Slurm
- We value familiarity with semiconductor development workflows or electronic design automation environments
- We require experience building services with AWS products
- We expect experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes
- We look for experience with monitoring, observability, and incident management at scale
- We partner with silicon design, verification, emulation, and software teams to understand development workflows, pain points, and iteration cycles
- We build tooling and automation that removes manual effort and shortens time to results
- We gather ongoing feedback from internal customers and iterate quickly on solutions
- We benchmark infrastructure against silicon development workflows so we can provide the best possible resources for silicon development
- We design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing clusters using schedulers such as Slurm
- We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure as code and service deployments, including testing and safe rollback capabilities
- We own platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency from early design through production operations
- We develop monitoring, diagnostics, and alerting systems that provide actionable insight into efficiency, utilization, reliability, and cost trends
- We establish incident response processes, runbooks, and documentation to support operational excellence
- We anticipate potential system failures and implement preventive measures to reduce operational toil and improve resilience
