- Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in project management or a related software development/engineering role
- Proficiency with AWS Services across Development, Testing, and Pre-production environments
- Familiarity with Cloud Automation using Open-Source DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Terraform
- Ability to select appropriate AWS services based on Data, Compute, and Security needs
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and Terraform
- Knowledge of high availability practices and disaster recovery planning
- Skills in designing and implementing security solutions for data protection
- Experience in Continuous Integration with Jenkins and CodePipeline on AWS
- Some experience as a Systems Administrator on various Unix servers including Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, and RHEL
- Capable of identifying and implementing new tools/technologies for efficient release and SCM processes
- Develop, initiate, and oversee Site Reliability IT projects aimed at enhancing system robustness, automation, and efficiency
- Lead and mentor technical staff while coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams for successful project outcomes
- Act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation of projects
- Plan project phases and evaluate business impacts, including adherence to SLO/SLA, error budgeting, and automation scope
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints
- Manage project execution to guarantee alignment with budget, schedule, and scope in reliability engineering efforts and incident mitigation
- Work collaboratively with project participants to address and resolve issues
- Track project milestones and deliverables effectively
- Ensure that project outputs meet established quality standards
- Interface directly with customers and business teams to assess current and future needs and priorities
- Be prepared to travel to various, unpredictable sites within commuting distance of our Novi, MI office, with some telecommuting options available
