Mid Cloud Application Architect @ Booz Allen Hamilton

Salary: $62,000 - 141,000 per year

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in microservices architectures
• 4+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud solutions using tools like EKS, ECR, or OpenSearch
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) tools
• Proven experience collaborating with application development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in microservices architecture tools, containerization tools, and orchestration tools
• Capability to implement hybrid solutions with cloud or on-premises infrastructure or multi-cloud strategies
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelors degree along with 4+ years of experience in DevOps, or 6+ years of DevOps experience in lieu of a degree
• Must be able to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a secure, cloud-based communications network to support mission-critical operations
• Leverage latest cloud technologies to enhance client environments and address complex challenges
• Lead the team in providing innovative cloud solutions for GEOINT missions
• Conduct thorough research to recommend appropriate tools and solutions based on existing conditions
• Maintain compliance with standards throughout the cloud migration process
• Enhance personal skill set in automation and cloud security while working on critical systems for GEOINT missions
• Collaborate with teams to find effective solutions during the software development lifecycle
