Job Description

- We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or 4 years of practical experience with enterprise Citrix infrastructure.
- We prefer advanced certifications in virtualization, Citrix, cloud, or infrastructure management.
- We require 3 years of hands-on IT infrastructure engineering experience.
- We require 2 years of experience building, configuring, and supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in enterprise settings.
- We require 2 years of experience administering and troubleshooting VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- We require proven experience deploying and managing workloads in Microsoft Azure, such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Files, and Azure AD.
- We require strong working knowledge of enterprise storage platforms, including NetApp, Dell EMC, or Pure Storage.
- We require familiarity with security, access control, and compliance expectations in regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.
- We require strong analytical ability to evaluate network and system performance and understand the impact of configuration changes.
- We require strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve Citrix infrastructure issues quickly.
- We require excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- We require hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, templates, snapshots, and VM optimization.
- We require strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure AD, and Azure Files.
- We require proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
- We require experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for provisioning, patching, and operational efficiency.
- We require familiarity with MFA, SSO, conditional access, and Zero Trust security principles for remote access.
- We prefer certifications such as Citrix CCP-V, Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, VMware VCP-DCV, and storage platform credentials from NetApp, Pure, or Dell EMC.
- We require the ability to manage daily pressure professionally and handle multiple issues without causing downtime.
- We architect, deploy, and maintain our Citrix-based virtual desktop infrastructure and remote access environment.
- We configure, support, and troubleshoot Citrix ADC, NetScaler Gateway, and related components.
- We partner with cloud teams to implement and support Citrix workloads in Azure and hybrid environments.
- We monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues affecting sessions, applications, or network connectivity.
- We automate environment builds, patching, and provisioning using PowerShell or similar tools.
- We apply system upgrades and security updates while minimizing disruption to users.
- We work with storage and virtualization teams to tune backend performance and manage capacity.
- We maintain accurate technical documentation for builds, configurations, and procedures.
- We serve as a tier-3 escalation resource for Citrix, VMware, and related infrastructure incidents.
- We support upgrades, migrations, and platform transitions across Citrix, Windows Server, VMware, and storage systems.
- We participate in enterprise initiatives focused on VDI modernization, cloud adoption, and infrastructure optimization.
- We assist with audits, vulnerability management, and security remediation efforts.
- We evaluate, test, and recommend new technologies to improve performance, automation, and reliability.
- We perform other duties as assigned.
