Cloud Migration Engineer

We are hiring a Cloud Migration Engineer for a remote role focused on moving enterprise applications and infrastructure into cloud environments. The position offers a salary range of $120,000.00 to $142,312.42 per year and involves working across major cloud platforms with a strong emphasis on automation, operating system administration, and cloud infrastructure support.

- We require the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- We look for a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- We need at least five years of practical experience migrating applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- We require experience with virtualization technologies and administration of Windows, Linux, AIX, and Solaris operating systems.
- We look for familiarity with cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions.
- We require proficiency in scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or comparable languages.
- We prefer hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
- We value relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or an equivalent credential.

- We plan, execute, and support the migration of applications and infrastructure to cloud environments.
- We conduct cloud readiness assessments to determine migration suitability and approach.
- We administer server operating systems including Windows, Linux, AIX, and Solaris.
- We use Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and automation tools to improve cloud provisioning and operations.
- We collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine cloud architectures and resolve migration challenges.
- We support the ongoing management and optimization of cloud infrastructure.
- We help ensure deployments are secure, scalable, and efficient across enterprise platforms.
