Join us on our journey to advance infrastructure operations through effective automation. - Extensive experience in deploying and managing Linux or UNIX-based systems within a data center - Strong enthusiasm for cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions - Excellent troubleshooting abilities for complex systems - Proficient in automation through Perl/Python programming and shell scripting - Solid understanding of standard internet protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, HTTP, etc.) - Insight into the functionality, performance, and scalability of commodity servers, operating systems, and networks - Exceptional skills in troubleshooting, project management, and problem analysis - Knowledge of security best practices in server configurations, tool development, and access controls - Experience in creating SQL queries - Foster technical innovation and improve efficiency in infrastructure operations through automation - Design server monitoring and management systems that utilize automation and self-healing capabilities - Develop processes that optimize operational workflows and enhance customer experiences - Analyze and resolve issues at their source, identifying failure patterns that lend themselves to long-term improvements through simplification and automation - Favor simple, repeatable solutions over complex and failure-prone alternatives - Adopt and implement best practices in documentation, testing, security, operational support at scale, and optimal resource utilization - Create relevant metrics to showcase improvements in operational efficiency
