DevSecOps Cloud Engineer @ L3Harris Technologies

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, we require at least 8 years of directly related experience.
• We are looking for hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• We need working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• We prefer at least 2 years of experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and processes.
• We value a strong grasp of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• We expect knowledge of cybersecurity principles and infrastructure security best practices.
• We are seeking strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• We need the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an operations setting.
• We prefer experience supporting production cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools is preferred.
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or security certifications are a plus.
• We require the ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We provide Tier 2 operational support for systems and services.
• We manage and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• We support and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and related services.
• We build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery.
• We troubleshoot networking issues and help ensure dependable system connectivity.
• We implement and reinforce security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, improve performance, and strengthen operational processes.
• We monitor system health, performance, and availability to support operational excellence.
• We document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
• We support critical operational environments and help stabilize deployed systems.
