Senior DevSecOps Cloud Engineer @ L3Harris Technologies

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, we accept a minimum of 6 years of directly related experience.
• We expect experience in cloud infrastructure, containerization, automation, networking, and security.
• We look for hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• We value working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• We prefer experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• We need strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting ability.
• We seek knowledge of cybersecurity principles and infrastructure security best practices.
• We value strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• We need the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an operations setting.
• Experience supporting production cloud environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation tools, and relevant cloud, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or security certifications is a plus.
• We require the ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We provide Tier 2 operational support for systems and services.
• We manage and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• We support and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and related services.
• We build, administer, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery.
• We troubleshoot networking issues and help ensure dependable system connectivity.
• We implement and reinforce security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
• We partner with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, improve performance, and strengthen operational workflows.
• We monitor system health, performance, and availability to maintain operational excellence.
• We document procedures, troubleshooting guidance, and system configurations.
