Senior Associate, Software Engineer (Cloud Web) @ L3Harris Technologies

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• We require CompTIA Security certification or a higher-level security credential.
• We require the ability to work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.
• We require a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, we require at least 6 years of directly related experience.
• We prefer candidates with 2 years of experience supporting classified and secure DoD environments, including NIPR, SIPR, and/or JWICS.
• We prefer experience with system administration and scripting tools or languages used for automation.
• We prefer security certification or a DoD IAT Level II certification.
• We prefer familiarity with cybersecurity, RMF, ATO/IATT support, compliance documentation, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration practices.
• We prefer experience with Identity and Access Management concepts.
• We prefer strong collaboration skills and the ability to engage directly with customers.

Responsibilities:

• We develop and maintain scripts and automation solutions that improve IT operations, monitoring, reporting, data handling, and workflow efficiency.
• We use tools such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL, Jira, and Confluence to automate tasks, resolve issues, support deployments, and document procedures.
• We apply networking fundamentals and software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and maintainable scripting.
• We provide system administration and application support across classified and unclassified DoD environments to sustain availability, access control, and reliability.
• We monitor systems and automated processes, support IAM activities, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate vulnerability remediation.
• We assist with compliance efforts, RMF, ATO/IATT activities, cybersecurity documentation, governance, configuration management, and change control.
• We support secure system operations under the guidance of the lead Information Systems Security Engineer and contribute to security sustainment activities as needed.
