DevOps Engineer - AWS

At Labor Pharmacy Benefit Solutions, we are a dynamic and funded startup aiming to transform medication distribution with innovative automation and a bold vision for national growth. We are in the process of building a mail-order pharmacy and related products from the ground up, offering a unique chance to contribute to creating a technology-driven pharmacy operation right from its beginnings. We provide a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, alongside benefits such as dental, health, life, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off. - Proven experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on AWS
- Extensive expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Helm Charts, and Terraform
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services and security best practices
- Experience with network security, VPCs, access management, and data encryption
- Proficient in scripting and automation techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Preferred: AWS Certification
- Bonus: Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy sector
- Bonus: Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies

- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, including Terraform
- Configure and oversee Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm Charts for container orchestration
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated building, testing, and deployment
- Adopt and uphold security best practices across all AWS services, including network security, access control, and data encryption
- Implement API management and security measures, using API Gateway if necessary
- Utilize AWS KMS for secure secret management
- Design and establish secure and scalable VPC architectures with subnets, route tables, and internet gateways
- Manage subdomain configurations using Route 53
- Enforce granular role-based access control (RBAC) via AWS IAM
- Develop centralized logging and monitoring systems with CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar tools
- Equip developers with essential AWS CLI tools, SDKs, and development environments
- Implement deployment strategies that minimize downtime during releases
- Oversee artifact repositories utilizing AWS ECR
- Draft and update infrastructure documentation while providing necessary training
