Cloud Operations Manager - AWS/Azure

- Over 5 years of experience in technical operations, cloud operations, production support, or DevOps-related roles
- Practical experience working with AWS and cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of monitoring systems, alerting mechanisms, and incident management
- Comfortable with Linux-based systems, understanding system resources (disk, CPU, memory)
- Experience in supporting or managing small technical teams while remaining actively engaged with systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and clients during incidents
- Skilled in balancing technical hands-on work with leadership duties

- Take ownership of daily technical operations and system reliability across platforms
- Monitor system health, alerts, and dashboards to detect issues proactively
- Investigate incidents and confirm root causes prior to escalation
- Serve as the primary response point for any system health problems and operational alerts
- Assist in maintaining AWS-based infrastructure, including servers, storage, and monitoring tools
- Ensure that monitoring coverage, alert thresholds, and operational checks are effective and suitable
- Manage backup, recovery, and capacity processes to ensure they are functioning properly
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues affecting clients
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations Support during incidents and investigations
- Contribute to enhancing monitoring, processes, and operational practices over time
