Job Description
We are MANTECH, seeking a driven and customer-focused Senior Cloud Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tysons, VA. In this position, you will utilize your robust technical expertise to provide advanced operational and technical support to our Frontline operations team. Our goal is to facilitate seamless hybrid on-premises cloud infrastructure for our customers through a blend of debugging, networking, and system administration techniques. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (or 4 years of equivalent experience)
- An Associates degree (or 2 years of equivalent experience) combined with 2 additional years of relevant experience may substitute the required bachelors degree
- Over 5 years of experience in software development with proficiency in one or more programming languages, including data structures and algorithms
- More than 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, and launching software products in a live environment
- At least 1 year of experience in software design and architecture focusing on complex systems
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
- Grasping all facets of the platform, its functionalities, and how customers build and operate supported workloads
- Internalizing issues related to scalability and quality to devise and implement comprehensive solutions
- Diagnosing intricate system and application challenges, including containerized microservices and VM workloads
- Partnering with project managers, technical project managers, and external vendors to enhance support and prioritize critical tasks
- Creating order portals, automation tools, and SLA dashboards to optimize support scenarios and solutions
- Aiding in L2 and L3 troubleshooting initiatives while contributing to the expansion of the support software stack
- Proposing and, once authorized, executing process and policy enhancements for product operations
