Join us remotely and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to empowering others on their educational journeys. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or comparable experience - At least four years of practical experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or software engineering with a strong operations emphasis - Demonstrated experience in constructing and maintaining production-grade CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure - Experience managing live production systems at scale, including handling incident management and on-call duties - Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), preferably Azure - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc. - Solid scripting and automation skills in languages like Python, Go, Bash, or similar - Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems (Git) - Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities across the entire stack (application, network, OS, cloud) - Security-focused mindset with knowledge of DevSecOps practices and compliance frameworks - Skilled in communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences - Team player with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to action and automation - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines utilizing modern tools to automate build, testing, security scanning, and deployment processes with zero-downtime practices - Implement and manage container orchestration, microservices deployment, and scalable strategies - Create comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to facilitate proactive incident detection and quick resolution - Automate repetitive operational tasks, minimize manual work, and enhance system reliability via scripting, tooling, and optimization of processes - Optimize the use of cloud resources, implement cost management strategies, and participate in capacity planning and performance enhancement - Collaborate across teams to define and advance platform standards and self-service options for developers - Stay updated on emerging DevOps, cloud, and observability technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption where suitable
