Salary: $115,199 - 164,570 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree in a related field, 3 years with a masters degree in a related field, 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field, or a high school diploma or equivalent plus 9 years of relevant experience.
• We require an active Top Secret/SCI-eligible clearance to be considered.
• We require U.S. citizenship.
• We require AWS Security Specialty certification.
• We prefer familiarity with Advana architecture, Palantir Foundry, or comparable data integration platforms.
• We prefer experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
• We prefer Agile or SAFe delivery experience in secure environments.
• We may need you to work in office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory settings and be able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and tolerate significant temperature changes.

Responsibilities:

• We conduct patch management across our Advana cloud enclaves by running vulnerability scans, identifying required updates, tracking applicability, and automating deployment actions in line with Department of Defense patching guidance.
• We validate patch deployments in controlled environments by executing test procedures, reviewing system performance, and confirming compliance with configuration baselines across virtual machines, containers, Infrastructure as Code components, and platform services.
• We operate cloud logging and monitoring capabilities using CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Splunk, Elastic clusters, and integrated SIEM pipelines to identify drift, unauthorized changes, and misconfigurations that could affect readiness.
• We support incident response by collecting data, correlating events, documenting operational impact, and producing metrics such as mean time to detect, mean time to respond, containment timelines, and recovery validation outcomes.
• We help triage security incidents by analyzing indicators of compromise, correlating logs, validating remediation steps, and preparing status updates for senior operational leaders.
• We participate in lessons learned sessions by identifying root causes, recommending corrective actions, and folding improvements into runbooks, intelligence feeds, and automated controls.
• We strengthen our defensive posture across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments by supporting continuity, cyber readiness, and cloud security modernization efforts aligned to the mission.
