- We require a current Secret-level U.S. Government security clearance, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- We are looking for 9+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or software development with a bachelors degree in a related field, or 7 years of relevant experience with a masters degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 13 years of relevant experience.
- We need strong expertise in AWS services, including EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, and Lambda, with practical application to infrastructure deployment and operations.
- We expect solid Linux systems administration and troubleshooting capability.
- We require proficiency with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- We need experience deploying, scaling, and managing applications, containers, and operating systems.
- We are seeking the ability to code in multiple languages, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- We value familiarity with Git, Flux, and other development and release management tools.
- We expect strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
- We require excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- We expect understanding of Agile software development practices and standard software development toolchains.
- We need the ability to work onsite at our Fort Meade, MD customer location five days per week, with flexibility for schedule changes.
- We prefer experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Accumulo, Ceph, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, and Presto.
- We also consider experience with containers, EKS, Diode, CI/CD, and Terraform a strong advantage.

- We support the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, with a primary focus on EKS.
- We support the build-out and deployment of non-cloud edge infrastructure, including on-premise and portable equipment.
- We automate deployment workflows and strengthen the reliability and scalability of our services.
- We manage and sustain Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud environments.
- We work closely with development teams to integrate applications into our infrastructure.
- We monitor production environments, troubleshoot incidents, and restore service as needed.
- We continuously refine our tools and processes to improve availability and performance.
- We stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement.
- We perform additional duties as assigned.
