Salary: $119,574 - 160,000 per year
Requirements:- We require a current TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- We require 9+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or software development with a bachelors degree in a related discipline, 7 years of relevant experience with a masters degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 13 years of relevant experience.
- We need strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, and Lambda, for infrastructure deployment and administration.
- We expect solid Linux expertise, including systems administration and troubleshooting.
- We require proficiency with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- We need experience deploying, scaling, and supporting applications, containers, and operating systems.
- We expect the ability to develop in multiple languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- We value familiarity with Git, Flux, and related build and release tooling.
- We require excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
- We need strong verbal and written communication skills.
- We expect familiarity with Agile development practices and standard software development toolchains.
- We require DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification, such as Security+.
- We require the ability to work in a hybrid schedule, on average 2-3 days per week at the customer site or in our office.
- We strongly prefer experience with big data platforms and technologies such as Hadoop, Accumulo, Ceph, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, and Presto.
- We consider experience with containers, EKS, Diode, CI/CD, and Terraform highly desirable.
- We support the design and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on EKS.
- We also build and maintain non-cloud edge infrastructure, including on-premise and portable equipment.
- We automate deployment workflows to improve service reliability and scalability.
- We administer and support Kubernetes containers and AWS-based infrastructure.
- We collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into our platform.
- We monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and restore service when needed.
- We continuously refine our tools and processes to strengthen availability and performance.
- We stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments to enhance our infrastructure.
