DevOps Release Management Engineer @ Maximus

Salary: $115,000 - 150,000 per year

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field is essential.
• Availability for on-site work in San Antonio, TX up to five days per week.
• A minimum of 5 years in DevOps, software development, or system administration experience.
• At least 3 years managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• 3 years of experience in developing and automating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• 3 years collaborating effectively with development, QA, and operational teams.
• 3 years implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• 3 years of troubleshooting in development, testing, and production settings.
• Demonstrated experience with release management and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain DevSecOps pipelines for cloud-based mission systems.
• Automate build, testing, release, and deployment processes across various environments.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, performance, and availability standards.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for environment setup and configuration.
• Assist in software release management, version control, and change management tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to DoD cybersecurity, RMF, and secure configuration standards.
• Support documentation, integration, testing, and accreditation activities.
• Participate in Agile program increment (PI) planning and occasional travel for related activities.
