Oracle Cloud Architect

We are an organization focused on advancing our cloud architecture capabilities across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other major cloud platforms. This role offers the opportunity to influence architecture standards, strengthen automation and Infrastructure as Code practices, and support strategic migration and modernization initiatives. - We require deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience preferred.
- We strongly prefer a current OCI certification, such as Architect Professional or Architect Associate.
- We are looking for experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- We expect a solid background in on-premises infrastructure to support migrations and hybrid integrations.
- We value experience with cloud networking, including VLANs, connectivity, and related architecture patterns.
- We need strong knowledge of cloud governance, standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- We prefer experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with 1 to 2 years in each as a plus.
- We are seeking familiarity with cloud security practices, ideally 2 to 3 years of experience.
- We look for exposure to cloud FinOps principles and cost optimization, ideally 1 to 2 years.
- We value experience documenting architecture using tools such as Visio or Abacus.
- We prefer experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and API/CLI scripting.
- We appreciate experience with SRE and DevOps practices, including monitoring, observability, and defining SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
- We consider knowledge of Oracle database technologies such as RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN to be highly valuable.
- We prefer familiarity with Oracle platforms such as Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, and OEM.
- We value Linux administration or network administration experience as an added advantage.

- We design cloud architectures centered on OCI while also supporting AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud initiatives.
- We partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into practical cloud solutions.
- We develop scalable, secure, and hybrid-ready architecture patterns aligned with organizational goals.
- We create and maintain cloud standards, governance models, and architecture documentation for the OCI platform.
- We guide engineering teams and, where needed, supplement their technical capabilities.
- We support hybrid infrastructure and migration efforts by leveraging our understanding of on-premises environments.
- We contribute to the expansion of Infrastructure as Code capabilities across the organization.
- We help define and implement cloud networking designs, including configuration, VLANs, connectivity, and environment setup.
- We oversee cloud server and environment administration, including patching, backups, system monitoring, and alerting.
- We support automation efforts using Terraform, Ansible, and API/CLI-based tooling.
- We help shape high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud architecture strategies.
- We contribute to observability and service reliability practices, including monitoring, SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
- We assess product architecture and roadmap considerations for cloud and database platforms.
